This is a standart network cable tester, with aditional option – tone generator and receiver.

Tone generator is connected to the cable with a connector, or with aligator clip, and generates the tone, which can be easily found with tone receiver – even in the big bundles of cables . When you place the receiver near the connected cable, it starts generating tone, and it amplifies as closer to the cable you are.
